Southeast Arizona Monthly Checklists -- Excluded Species
The March, 2005, release of the SE AZ monthly checklists contain a total of 390 species. A checklist for any given month will contain less than this total. October is the highest species count month.
To keep the size of the checklists to two pages and to avoid including misleading information, I have deliberately excluded many species for a variety of reasons. Generally, I exclude species with insufficient records to warrant inclusion (~20 give or take). The following list of species have all occurred in southeast Arizona but are not included on any monthly checklist. Hypothetical, released, undocumented and unaccepted species and species with very old records are excluded and not mentioned here.
